1. Human-in-the-Loop Oversight
Our AI helps you turn your daily struggles into clear, structured words, but you remain in complete control. You review, edit, and confirm every answer before sending anything to the DWP.
Our AI response generation system provides first-person initial drafts to help claimants express the daily impact of their conditions clearly. However, AI-generated drafts are not final legal submissions. Every generated statement must be reviewed, edited, and verified by the claimant or their appointed proxy before submission to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
- Claimant Verification: You have the final say on every sentence and detail included in your claim.
- Full Editability: Every drafted answer can be modified or regenerated directly within your application workspace.
- Advocate Support: You can download and share your drafts with family members, support workers, or welfare advisers.
2. Non-Clinical Advice Disclaimer
MyPIPApp is an independent guidance assistant, not a doctor or a lawyer. We help you explain your daily difficulties, but we do not provide medical diagnoses or formal legal representation.
MyPIPApp AI outputs do not constitute formal medical diagnosis, clinical treatment advice, or official legal representation. For medical advice, consult your GP or NHS healthcare provider. For legal representation, consult an accredited welfare rights organisation or solicitor.
3. DWP Reliability Criteria Alignment (Regulation 4(2A))
Under UK welfare law, if you can only do a task with severe pain, fatigue, or risk, it does not count as being able to do it. Our tools ensure your answers clearly address all four statutory S.A.R.R. criteria.
Our AI prompts are engineered to evaluate descriptor statements against the official DWP S.A.R.R. reliability criteria under Regulation 4(2A) of the Social Security (Personal Independence Payment) Regulations 2013:
- Safely: In a manner unlikely to cause harm, risk of injury, or severe pain to you or another person.
- Acceptably: To an acceptable standard of hygiene, safety, and completion.
- Repeatedly: As often as the activity is reasonably required to be completed throughout the day.
- In a Reasonable Timeframe: Taking no more than twice the maximum time an individual without your health condition would take.
